You can play in any shoe as long as you get used to the feel.
What happened to those weckl shoes from firth are they still around? Not that I care, I just saw an ad for those once and thought it was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Instead of buying some shoes one should go and practice.
I like Porcaro in Rattlesnake skin cowboy boots. You know for the ultimate comfort and feel.

Funny thing about those Porcaro Boots is that when I was ten, I didn't want any other Boots than those. You know, "For the ultimate comfort and feel"

Maybe if Lang played in Motercycle boots like Pelton, he might actually play something musical and grooving.
Whoops...did I say that?

Just remember that Puma's do not
come wide. Mine are not that big
but they are wide and Puma's don't
cut it for me.
Any thin soled tennis shoes/sneaker
should do just fine. I like wearing
Vans too or liked-styled shoes.
The top of my foot is big. Don't
like it tight. Good luck!

Lang uses Puma Speed Cats from what I recall. There was a Q and A in Modern Drummer a few months ago about this.
I use Puma Del Mundos for drumming... very similar and thin. You can really FEEL the pedals.
For something a bit more bold and all-round practical I would recommend Puma Elite.
Hmmm, time to look into that Puma endorsement.
